I'd still love to know how the WBA decided to rank Berlanga ended up #1.

He was made mando for Morrell’s wba regular belt or whatever it’s called these days, when he beat McCory, and when Morrell moved up , he got pushed to WBA mando.

Total BS considering McCorry isn’t even ranked in any of the sanctioning bodies top 15 including the WBA’s today.

I’d imagine a loss to the “#1 contender” wouldn’t boot a fighter completely out of the rankings . lol
