This is it for Danny. He needs to ride off in the sunset as he’s had a great career—he’s given us a lot in this sport.

He’s made it clear that he doesn’t really care about boxing and has stayed away from it for a while, and it showed tonight. He’s happy for the payday.

At best, he could do an exhibition with a former welterweight foe or Floyd if he’s lucky enough.

Love the Garcias and what they’ve given the fans but Danny could get hurt if he doesn’t really care tonight. He had an embarrassing night but mainly due to boredom. Physically, he doesn’t look ‘old’ as though he isn’t supposed to be in there with a pair of gloves on.

There’s seemingly noting else for him to gain in the sport unless they can talk him into being an opponent for Conor Benn.
