Comments Thread For: Tim Tszyu ready to take out Bakhram Murtazaliev on Oct. 19

Junior middleweight Tim Tszyu is ready to take out anyone that may stand in his way of becoming a two-time world champion. The Australian must dig deep to strip Bakhram Murtazaliev off his IBF 154-pound title to achieve that

Its the cow dung they spread about Tim what I don't like. 2 time champion when the first time was emailed and lost in his first defense. To me, Tim hasn't "WON" a title yet. For this and Tim's poor road performances. Murts by KO.

He never won a title and he never defended a title. How does that work?

It is true that Tim never won a title and that he never defended a title, but to be fair, he did try to fight Charlo for a long time and was being denied the opportunity, so he fought everybody else that was available. He was also on his way to beating Fundora when the accident happened and changed the course of the fight. This next fight will be an acid test to see how good Tim really is. I have a feeling he passes with flying colors.

He was elevated to champ when Charlo moved up to fight Canelo, and I know the Thurman fight wasn’t going to be sanctioned as a title fight, but I thought it did become a title fight/defense when Mendoza stepped in.

Could be wrong about that though

Ole Al pulled his usual strings, huh? Timmy got his WBO belt via e-mail. Let's tell the truth.

He defended the title against Mendoza and then lost it in a unification.

In the eyes of most boxing purists Tim is still undefeated with that Fundora farce really being a NC. Now he gets to win back a title he never really lost this is going to be a great fight as always Tszyu is willing to face the best bring it on!

Nothing against Murtazaliev, but having three beltholders in 154 be Fundora, Tszyu, and Crawford will certainly make it more entertaining IMO...
