Then again, perhaps it being held in Germany would add some intrigue. Karen hoping to get to the decision and receive beneficial treatment but the judges and Boots realizing he may need a KO to get the win.

All that being said, I anticipate Boots moving to 154. Since there isn't a title shot likely soon, maybe he will fight someone dangerous. More likely it will be an underwhelming matchup.
I don't think Hearn wants to give Ennis another gimme fight. The first problem will probably be finding a 154lber willing to risk their ranking against Ennis. The second problem will be $$$. Hearn seems to have "ATM" written on his forehead.

Either way if Boots vacates I wonder if Jin Sasaki could sneak his way into a world title fight? He's 2 top 5 guy in all the organizations and quite a nice fireworks.

Would Sasaki even accept? It seems rare for the top Japanese boxers to travel to Europe.

If he is given a chance to fight for a world title against Karen I think Sasaki will be all for it. Not to mention Ohashi is notorious for willing to let his stable fight for a world title on the first chance that comes by, and isn't too worried about losses.

The maie reason you don't see top Japanese boxers travel to Europe is more due to top Japanese boxers and top European boxers tend to not fight in the same division that often.

I wonder if Chukhadzhian will fight Sasaki negatively like he did Ennis. He fought Scarff more aggressively because Scarff can't punch.

His power and aggression will be very important on the road. He's gonna need to stop Chukhadzhian.

                  - - If Boot's vacates, it will be in the vacuum that had defined his career thus far.

He should take the rematch and take care of buisness in devastating fashion. Calzaghe was in a similar position against veit. He just got on with it took him out in impressive fashion and got on with his career, landing big fights afterwards

Boots - Madrimov at 154 is a logical fight.
