Comments Thread For: Ten reasons why Jake Paul will beat Mike Tyson

I think that Tyson should be able to knock out Jake Paul. Mike has muscle memory, power and is still explosive but at short bursts. Two minute fights fare better for Tyson vs three minute fights. Tyson has been staying in shape and keeping his weight down. Jake Paul is a circus character pretending to be a boxer. I hope Jake Paul gets canceled. I am rooting for Tyson on this one.

People are over analyzing a circus show here. There are two scenarios here. Either it will be pre-planned as to what is going to happen or Mike should lose to JP. The dude is nearly 60 years old. I don't care what Mike was in his prime. After 40, your muscle deteriorates, your bone density goes down, stamina goes down, everything starts going to **** and we're talking nearly 60! Only in arm wrestling can you still be dominant and king of the sport at 60 years old (look up Brzenk vs Leonidas or Todd Hutchings vs Prudnik, these just took place). This isn't arm wrestling. This is a young man's sport and father time is undefeated.Last edited by ELPacman; 08-29-2024, 09:17 AM.

Tyson knows he can beat Paul - just as Mayweather knew he would beat McGregor - otherwise he wouldn't enter the ring. Paul lost to a boutique supposed pro-boxer Tommy Fury. Fury more a reality-teevee personality - he a one-dimensional tomato can. To dub Paul a professional is a gross misuse of the term. He is a plodding fighter, slow and moves as if made outta wood. Any decent amateur would KO Paul. Paul is essentially a hobbyist who has been able to garner some loot thu ludicrous fights that look more like smokers, than actual fights. He's a hack and barely an amateur. He has no talent and his skills are not even mediocre.

So much going on with this fight, I dislike serious boxing authors talking about it as if it isnt possibly rigged. I dont expect Tyson to spark out Jake, we know that is the least financially lucrative outcome. Jake has a netflix deal and the goal here will be to get him repeat fights.
Tyson at 58 if he wins, especially in dramatic fashion, then what. if if he fights again and his body can make it through a camp it wont be for many more fights.
When Jake lost to Tommy Furry that set back Jake almost a year with the big money fights, he went and took two unknown journey men cough dives cough and barely advertised those fights before he came back with a name. that is proof a "loss" will cost jake time and money. Which I believe that they will tell Tyson to not go for the KO and I think tyson would do it for the money, this has to pay a lot more than podcasting. We know tyson is capable of it because i saw him not take shots that were there with Roy.
EIther a clear Jake win or a close competitive decision loss for them to both save face.

I predict Jake Paul taking
a dive for LOTS OF GREEN. Everyone and their uncle knows he would beat Mike Tyson in one round.

I’d love to see Tyson pull this off, but it ain’t happening. Mike and I are the same age, and we both stay in shape. Trust me, a nearly sixty year old body — fighting legend or no — can’t compete with a young athlete. It’s just the way it is. Paul isn’t some guy off the street. Tyson would murder someone like that.

The bottom line is that Mike Tyson is a 58 old ass man, who is well past his prime and has no business in a boxing ring with a much younger man at this late and advanced stage of his life.
Shame on Jake Paul for even taking this fight and shame on the governing body for even sanctioning it.
Jake Paul believe he is proving something by defeating a washed up, depleted, decrepit and old Mike Tyson who is no longer at his physical peak. However, in reality he is not proving shit!
Everyone knows what would happen if a prime Mike Tyson were to fight a Jake Paul. This arrogant prick is planning on publicly humiliating Mike Tyson and hurting him.Last edited by champion4ever; 08-30-2024, 02:36 AM.
