As much I would like to see this fight happen. Bud doesn’t necessarily has to take it if a better fight is available like a Canelo. I would much rather see this fight than a Ortiz/Crawford fight though.

Good news, it’s time to unify the belts under one name. Easy fight fir Crawford

I was talking about Ortiz being mandatory for Fundora as the interim champ. Ortiz isn't mandatory for Bud, so Bud isn't ducking Ortiz by any stretch in fighting a unification.

It’s super easy to beat Fundora than it is to beat Boots. So it’s not a question of “if he achieves it”, he will achieve it but what does it mean?
Fundora can get beat by Khan if they fought today.

The size and length will surely be a problem for Bud and considering that Bud is a counter puncher a slow pace could favor Fondura if he uses his length and size.

Fundora is hard to fight but Crawford will likely figure him out. If Brian Mendoza KOd him, the same could happen with Terence. Madrimov is a tougher fight if they have a rematch.

I don't know man. I thought the same way, but then I go back to the Tszyu fight. I think Fundora's mental as he craves to become a star in boxing might allow him to will his way through the fight like a possessed man. That is, as long as he doesn't get 1 punch iced or something. He showed a new wrinkle to his game when he refused to let Tszyu back into the fight once the cut opened up. His own face was a mess, he could barely breathe through his nose and it did not stop him.

Fundora might see Crawford as an aged warrior whose ready for the taking and to beat him will allow his stock to rise tremendously. That said, he could go on to immediately lose against his next opponent if he were to beat Crawford and his next opponent is someone more of his own age.

This is a real fight and I would favor Bud only because is accuracy and power but this is a fight that anything can happen. If Fundora decides to use his jab and fight from outside, the Bud will be there for a huge surprise.

That Canelo fight is a nonsense mismatch...only a bag grabbing fight for both fighters. It might be good for them but not for us.

Both make a wall of money, but like Teddy Atlas, I have Terrance Crawford. Everything Canelo is doing is nearly identical what Fury did and said prior to eventually agreeing to fight Usyk, everything.

We all saw how that worked and so did Canelo. No amount of money is going to get Canelo to fight Crawford...his style is too dangerous.
