Whatever happened with Serranos push to fight 12/ 3 's kr 10/3's ? Did the other ladies not want it ? I was hoping that it would take effect. It would help legitimize womens boxing in many eyes.

She fought Danila Ramos at 12x3. Her BoxRec now has ruleset listed. But yes, some of the others haven't wanted it, probably because they haven't trained for it. Women fight equal times and rounds in every other combat sport. But if they fought longer rounds, the same ones whinging about how Skye or Shields don't have KO's would start complaining about how they don't want to watch women hurt each other. Bigots will always be bigots.

I have really tried with womens boxing . I don't have anything against them being women in boxing. It doesn't bother me that they are chicks who also fight. I strongly believe that everyone in the world deserves the same freedom, rights, liberties ,and to be treated with the same respect that I get in the world. I served in the Army because of that. I'm just making it really clear that they being women doesn't have anything to do with why I don't care for womens boxing overall. Too many of the fights are brutal mismatches , or no better than two drunks fighting in a parking lot after the bars close. The relative lack of knockouts or even the threat or possibility that someone might get stopped is a major turn off. It takes a lot of the suspense and excitement out of the fight , it takes the fun out of it when you already know that there's not going to be a stoppage. Lately , I leave the fights on so they don't lose ratings or anything but I don't watch them. If there was a league or cards for just womens fights , they'd starve to death. I don't know if three minute rounds would produce more ko's of just prolong the misery.

Woman fights dont interest me but i do wish they the promoters would put in female fighters cards only at some point. I i do beleive at some point when there were more woman fighters being put on cards it was bc they were cheaper to have on the card more then anything else (nothing to do with open mindedness). Not that that has not happened before ...........years ago that is why they the promoters n TV exects put boxing on TV bc it was cheap to have on the screen this was several years ago before cable and anything like PPV. so no disrespect there, and yea i do not watch not interested but i do get annoyed having to walk away from the screen when ever the girls get in the ring, i do not mind ring card girls they add something to the excitment inside the ropes. Beyound that there is no attraction for the ladies fighting even if they were fast and lightning and powerful as Mike Tyson.....
