Plant VS The M.A.G.A. Mustache. Who you got?

This one's going to be very interesting. Plant's coming off a vicious beatdown at the hands of David Benavidez and an 18 month layoff. MAGA Mustache on the other hand is an undefeated prime lion coming to make a statement and a name for himself. I'm rolling with Mr. Mustache!

Getting a tattoo of your own name always seems very low-imagination.

Hopefully he doesn't go tattoo crazy like other fighters after they win titles. Tank and Canelo come to mind.

I've researched Trevor McCumby across every dark corner I could find. While he simply does not appear to have the skills necessary to outwork Caleb, he does possess one-shot KO power, he spent eight years being virtually ignored at LHW (I counted at LEAST ten fights that were never televised in any capacity), a 135-15 amateur record, and most importantly, this is his big chance and he's hungry. On the other side of the coin, he has a few black marks on his record that he may repeat - we simply don't know enough about him to make an accurate prediction in that way. Has he learned from his mistakes? Or does he intend to cheat again? This is a much better fight (on paper, anyway) than the garbage main event. Trevor has had three fights in the last year after a five year layoff; Caleb has had zero over the past year and a half AFTER taking a severe beating from Benavidez.

IF, and I mean IF McCumby comes in well prepared and he is what research paints him to be, then he has every chance possible to put Plant on the floor.

              Otherwise, Plant = UD.

Two rural white boys from the good ol' USA fighting for a top 10 spot at 175??
                  And MAGA hats to boot?

If this is the beginning of a trend, boxing again becomes fully mainstream in the average American household!

....Strange but true. Its just how it is.
Boxing ain't a team sport tied to a city, its a personality sport.
