canelo says he could beat benavidez and talks **** about him.
refuses to fight him and his daddy Sulimon at WBC protected him when he should have stripped Canelo for refusing to face their mandatory. I dont even know how that is possible to refuse to fight the mandatory and keep your belt. WBC is the most corrupt of all the boxing organizations and that says a lot.
mexicans and all fight fans should boycott canelo at this point its a joke, stop giving him your moneyComment

I mean….he’s not wrong. Kudos to Benavidez for going straight for the jugular at 175, but he’s entering hallowed grounds by fighting a career 175 pounder who is a level-headed disciplined boxer. I’d pick Bivol over Benavidez, Morrell, and Canelo. None of those three could beat him.
They can probably beat any 175 pounder, but not Bivol. I’d also favor Beterbiev but with all his outside the ring injuries and age he’s potentially turning himself into a Zab Judah surprise box. Any one of those days he’s going to climb up there and it’s going to bite him in his rear end.Comment

It happens in the sport, unfortunately. Jose Sulaiman once openly said (I think they featured it in the Sergio Martinez documentary on Netflix “Maravilla”) that Julio Cesar Chavez Jr. was his godson, which would explain why they would build everything around Julio Jr. to become champion.
This looks to be no different.
It’s kinda’ like when you see the WBO having a bunch of PR champs…you kinda’ give it the side eye and wonder how much of that is through hard work and how much of it is the organization manufacturing champions (the WBO specifically) so they can keep saying, “PR produces more champions per capota than any other country.”

The moment I mentioned random drug testing for Canelo many of his fans lost their fucking minds. What is so wrong to know whether a fighter is still doping or not?
Not once that I even mentioned that he was dirty. I was just curious to know whether he was or not that’s all because of a potential fight with Terence Crawford.
