After the AJ KO loss I never want to see Francis back in the Boxing ring.

I have the ultimate respect for Francis as a fighter.

I thought he'd land at least one decent punch on AJ to bring out that look Joshua does.

Fair play to AJ. He did what he was supposed to do and gave a fine 1 and a half round exhibition of cross code combat sports ending in a spectacular knockout.

Dont know that that's enough banked rounds to keep Big Doobie from cashing in on AJ's ring rust since.

Same. And honestly he might have done if he didnt make the baffling decision to go Southpaw for no ****ing logical reason like 2 mins in. Instantly got him caught hard and I think that totally took the wind out of his sails and set the tone for how things were gonna go.

          You get it.
I dont get it brother, lol.

Most of those guys would have gotten decapitated. Prime DC, Ubereem, maybe Brock would have a decent chance.

Actually tbf, Ngannou vs Semmy or Cro Cop could have been very interesting stylistically.

Francis mugs him again if they fight, but Fury will retire after this next beating by Usyk. If Fury rematches Ngannou it will be two years from now and north of 25 stone.
Fury, like a fair number of accomplished fighters, tends to fight to the level of his opponent. Rating Fury based on his "performance" against Ngannou is akin to measuring Ali by his exhibition against Gregorio Peralta in Barcelona.

THAT's got to be why he lost to the first pure boxer he ever faced in a serious fight so badly.
And here I sat in ignorance, thinking that, if you hone your boxing skills against fighters who are at a 300k level, then step in against a 20 million dollar level fighter; you're due a reality check.

                Talk about weak excuses.

There are levels to fighting regardless of rules, and Josh was Ngannou's Matrix pill.

And Fury? Everybody knows...He just enjoys being silly unless a killer like Wilder, Klitschko, Whyte, Chisora or Usyk is in the other corner.

Always Seemed to me that Brock didn't do well with getting hit.

He reacted terribly to getting hit, and Ngannou was probably the biggest puncher in MMA history. But on the other hand Brock was a better wrestler than anyone Ngannou faced, and was his equal in terms of size, strength and athleticism.

I lean towards Ngannou taking his head off, but I wouldnt be all that shocked if Brock was able to keep him on his back and grind him down either.
