I agree. Unification will be a tough road for Ennis to travel since the PBC owns 3 out of the 4 welterweight titles.

So moving up to 154 makes the most sense. Also signing with Eddie Hearn seems like a very bad career move by Jaron “Boots” Ennis.

Since Al Haymon holds all the belts at 147; He should have signed with the PBC.

While he's talking, his fighters are on the shelf! I can't understand why he won't let Barrios fight Boots or Stanionis??? I saw this today, and I wasn't happy...

Spence vs. Fundora and Pacquio vs. Barrios Double-Header Possible for December

I can't believe they're going to let Barrios fight Pacquiao!!!

Not to mention, Spence, Fundora, Tim Tszyu, Jesus Ramos, and Jermell Charlo at 154!

Yes, no doubt! In addition, who does Matchroom and Eddie Hearn has for Jaron to fight at welter or Superwelter with a title? No one.

Im sure pbc knows barrios stands no chance of winning and stanionis has a slim chance. Im sure they know they can wait Boots out because he isn't gonna be able to make 147 much longer

Why doesn't boots just go to 154 and put his name in that mix? That division is crowded and as 147 champ, i think that puts him as automatic mandatory for fundora\spence winner.
Seems like the common sense thing to do is move up

Nah! The logical thing is to follow Crawford’s blueprint and unify 147 - Crawford unified 140 and then 147 and against super mediocre guys at 140.

Can't unify if guys won't fight you. Stannios already said he is targeting Barrios, so they are obviously freezing Boots out.
Im sure they both know they can't beat him. Pbc tries to keep those belts in house for as long as possible.

Barrios vs. Pacquiao is an embarrassment to the sport! It's worst than Canelo vs. Berlanga! I understand the business aspect, but who wants to see another Holmes vs. Ali???

You are right. It is worse but Barrios is no Holmes.
