  • Why is Mayweather fighting Gotti again?

The first one was not even close. Why is this happening and who is paying for this? Is Floyd broke?

You’d think they’d at least put “part 2” or “rematch” in the poster at least but that would just be confusing to the average viewer.

    ”Mayweather vs. Gotti lll 2”

    It’s pointless because:

a-) it’s not really a serious boxing match (Floyd’s been on the exhibition circuit for nearly a decade at this point)

b-) The first fight wasn’t even close.

c-) I don’t even think Gotti lll is THAT well known even for casual viewers. So this is just head-scratching from a business standpoint as well.

I like Floyd but he could legitimately make a gargantuan amount of money if he decided to fight Jake Paul. Not saying it’s a legit fight, not saying he wins, not saying this or that. From an financial optimization standpoint, that’s it right there.

On the other hand, I wouldn’t get in there with Jake either at nearly 50 and not being a big puncher at welterweight so…I dunno.

Floyd’s either making oodles of money on this, or his lifestyle is finally catching up him.

People always hear others making six figure salaries and stating that with that amount of money, they’d be able to live comfortably but what they fail to notice is that in MOST CASES, with more money comes a change in expenses. Properties, dining out, a new car or two, etc. It all adds up QUICK, especially if you’re prone to staying home and getting bored easily.

The ones that are able to bank are introverts that can get away with playing video games (maybe the same one or two all year (without micro transactions) /watching movies. Good luck if you have any inclinations towards traveling, that’ll set you back quick as well.

He probably needs cash. He may have plenty of assets but they can't be turned into cash unless he sells some of them.

I dont know where you get this broke idea from, he is rolling in money and has been for a long time now, broke to him is his last million.

I think he just likes attention and getting into heated arguments on TV. Just watch at people at talk shows.

So, he probably gets bored from time to time and does this.

I just fear that some bloke might swing and land on his chin.

Floyd on his behind sitting on the floor will be an embarrasment to boxing.
