Hrgovic vs Makhmudov maybe for the Battle of The Bots?
In my opinion Hrgovic made just one critical mistake in that fight. Because of their history in sparring, he was overconfident and thought he was just going to blow Dubois away in a few rounds. He kept throwing that right hand with serious intent even when he was obviously missing and as a result of that he gassed very quickly. After that, it was easy work for Dubois.

It is true. But that does not mean that he would won if he would fight Dubois again.

Well..bad for him. It is very unprofessional underestimating top 10 guy.

Good luck to Hrgovic on his way back from this. He will need it.
He need to get serious and respect his oponents. Luck will follow only if you deserve it.

I think Vianello and Hrgovic can be decent fringe contenders. But they will likely lose when they fight more skilled guys.
I was looking at the rankings and I think Hrgovic could still beat a lot of the top guys, heck me might beat most of them but I don't know if he would consistently beat most of them..

Someone mentioned maybe he doesn't take his career as seriously he should. Others have mentioned the passing of his father impacting him.

Vianello probably just won his biggest fight. I'm not sure his run goes.much further than this but regardless I will always like him. He may not be the best but he seems to love the sport and is trying to be his best version.... whatever that may be.

Gate keeper for what he doesn't have a real quality win.

I have a sneaking su****ion he will be a b side foil for Moses Itamu at some point in the next year.

That sounds like a strange comment to me.
Like something a chick would say the first time you bring her to the fights.

How can a solid, 260 world class heavyweight not do well in the lightheavyweight division against 175 pounders?

...Or did you imagine a 260 lb athlete moving around like an athlete who weighs 85 lbs less?
