As one fight why would it be a big deal aslong as better fights would surround it or take place at all. One fight is not a big deal to me aslong as he stays active bigger things are always possible, I am patient to see how everything plays out most everyone else will only except certain things right away.

Whatever though I obviously look at the sport differently then most.

I see a lot of posters are outraged, even Floyd fans. I'm not all that happy neither but i have a question.

My question is. Alvarez is a Welterweight, what is the problem this time?

Posters were talking about "If Floyd fights a WW, any WW, i will give him credit"

          So what is it now?

154: De La Hoya was old and past prime

          147: Hatton was a JWW

          146: Marquez was a Lightweight

          147: Alvarez....umm...he was..he was...uh..um..he was a Welterweight but he was too young?

I don't believe this will happen...most likely just a comeback to Arum's comments talking about Floyd is not an option for Pacquiao in 2010.
WTF MAN! Alvarez is a prospect!!!! c'mon man!!!!

          this is outrageous!!!!

Dude has almost as many fights as Cotto, he ain't much of a prospect unless you're saying his competition isn't all that... Hey, look at that he is a perfect opponent for Money Mayweather

That WBO #5 looks impressive, till you see who's ranked above him, Krzysztof Bienias and Antonin Docaire.

Alvarez isn't a universally recognized top 10 WW, yet.

like I said before Juilo Ceasar Chavezuse to take stay busy fights all the time he used to fight every month fighting fighters with only 3 career pro fights when he has already fought 60+ fights...

So if The Greatest Mexican Fighter of All Time can do it...
Why is it a problem for Floyd to fight Prospects?

This is a good post. I wish there was more unbiased posts like this. Like i said, the fight is not even signed and floyd has said nothing at all.

Don't waste your time on Ch@mp. He posts on NSB only when he's
