    Saul Alvarez is a Welterweight

So I read that Richard Schaefer was talking about Alvarez vs Mayweather in Mexico.

I see a lot of posters are outraged, even Floyd fans. I'm not all that happy neither but i have a question.

My question is. Alvarez is a Welterweight, what is the problem this time?

Posters were talking about "If Floyd fights a WW, any WW, i will give him credit"

    So what is it now?

154: De La Hoya was old and past prime

    147: Hatton was a JWW

    146: Marquez was a Lightweight

    147: Alvarez....umm...he was..he was...uh..um..he was a Welterweight but he was too young?

I don't believe this will happen...most likely just a comeback to Arum's comments talking about Floyd is not an option for Pacquiao in 2010.

I didn't notice this boxer much, if he has fought on espn I probably seen him or might have missed the episode.

Edit: Actually, i googled this red-headed kid... I definitely never seen him fight. His hair is so red!

      You can't be serious, homie.

Floyd came out and said he came back for Cotto, Mosley and Pac. How in the hell does a very-green unproven prospect fit into all this?

And someone I and probably other fans don't really even know of... I never seen him fight on espn, his hair is bright ass red. I don't think I would have forgotten his red hair.

I don't know what you're talking about Jr. Read the line where it says "I'm not too happy about this neither".

Just want to know what exactly has the fans angry this time since he is a WW.

I knew this was going to be one of the excuses, "But he's a welterweight.." If it is not a lightweight it is some green 19 year old kid. Why not Mosely, Cotto/Pacquiao winner?

If you support this you are making yourself look like a fool.

So the fact that he's never fought anyone of note means nothing to you? I swear, half of these Mayweather stans are so ****ing literal they remind me of 13 year old girls.

Floyd is the best fighter in the world. Hands down. And he's going to fight a prospect, coming off of a glorified tuneup? Get outta here.
