Saul Alvarez is a Welterweight

So I read that Richard Schaefer was talking about Alvarez vs Mayweather in Mexico.
I see a lot of posters are outraged, even Floyd fans. I'm not all that happy neither but i have a question.
My question is. Alvarez is a Welterweight, what is the problem this time?
Posters were talking about "If Floyd fights a WW, any WW, i will give him credit"
So what is it now?
154: De La Hoya was old and past prime
147: Hatton was a JWW
146: Marquez was a Lightweight
147: Alvarez....umm...he was..he was...uh..um..he was a Welterweight but he was too young?
I don't believe this will happen...most likely just a comeback to Arum's comments talking about Floyd is not an option for Pacquiao in 2010.Comment

Oh hell no. thats why I said Yanks in 7 over LAA.
To be honest I would have rather faced Boston. Angels always give us hell. We're just a different team this year.
And if we lose to anybody, I hope its the Dodgers....Seeing Torre succeed will be some silver lining. Hate how we did him so wrong.
The Yankees seem to be having more fun now, when Torre was there everything was serious and everyone was a little tense. Now out of nowhere we have A-Rod, the king of choking up in play off games, actually getting runs in when we need them.Comment
