Floyd does not like facing elite fighters in his weight class. I was neutral about Floyd but this revelation about Alvarez has me tilting towards being a hater.
Saul Alvarez is a Welterweight

This is definitely not a good press release to defend. Best bet is that it doesn't get mentioned again for a while. To be fair, as audacious as Mayweather is, even wouldn't take this fight. I don't believe it for a second. However, the fact that the name was mentioned is still an embarassement.Comment

I took out "in their prime" from the quote because neither Alvarez nor Marquez are in their prime. Mayweather has to fight Michael Katsidis next so he has not only fought a world class fighter and a welterweight but also an opponent in his prime.
Of course I'd prefer him to fight just one opponent who is all of the above.Comment

Alright, so the Dodgers are gonna beat the Phillies in 6.
Yanks are gonna take the Angels out in 7.
Yankees are gonna beat the Dodgers in 5. True Story.Comment

He fights on **** channels, I mean this is the guy Floyd wants to fight? Someone who doesn't even fight on the normal fight channels like espn? Thats ashame, because he probably is talented but if we can't see him fight on tv and only live-streams then thats ****!
Has made him a star in Mexico, Millions and Millions of Mexicans watch his fights on Televisa, one of the Most Powerful TV Stations on all of Latin America.
Even Anna Kournikova is sold on the Kid thanks to Televisa
