  • Comments Thread For: Fearless 'Hot Rod' Kalajdzic targets David Benavidez for December

There were plenty who, after he fought David Morrell, felt they would be condemning Radivoje Kalajdzic to the scrapheap. Although the 29-3 (21 KOs) "Hot Rod" had been stopped just once before, by Artur Beterbiev, and had won his last five, Cuban hotshot Morrell was one of the high-risk opponents many felt should be avoided at 168 or, in the Cuban's new weight class, of 175.

Those scores against Morel were a travesty...

Just make the Benavidez -Morrell fight already; or call both guys bluff and see who really wants/doesn't want it.

Morrell really ain’t that good. His corner will end up throwing the towel if he ever fights Benevidez.

Hot Rod as game as they come. He's done it without any significant promotional backing and some layoffs.

Good fight for David to prepare for undisputed fight. I think he would beat the crap out of hot rod and show Morrell how its done.

Next, Morrell needs to target Gvozdyk, so he and Benavidez can keep Merry-Go-Rounding one another.

Actually, those two fights on the same card to set up the winners fighting each other isn’t a bad idea.

                I would certainly watch it.

I was being facetious and slightly irritable but your idea actually works! Nice one, dude.

I knew that. But I thought you stumbled on to a really good card, especially since both underdogs did well, especially Hot Rod.
