One had the backing of powerhouse showtime and never made offers to anyone of note. Still is fighting a bunch of nobodies and is in a barren 147 division.

Ortiz is in arguably thee best division in boxing. Tons of great fights to be made.

Ennis needs to fight stannaois and move up or just move up right away. If he sticks around 147 that’s a joke his whole boogeyman mantle will shattered there’s plenty of dance partners for him at 154 one of the top 3 at 147 is barrios who got KOd viciously by tank a 135 lbr. I’m a big ennis fan but if he stays at 147 for longer than one more fight that’ll be it as far as support goes no one will buy that’s he’s so good if he won’t fight Ortiz Tysxu crawford Madrimov Bohachuk fundora

Since some people think Bohachuck won, lets see Ennis vs Bohachuck. But we know he wont.

If Boots really wanted smoke, he'd go to 154 instead of spending another 13 months whining no one will fight him. Sometimes, you have to get off your behind and make things happen.

I think some are overly criticizing Vergil because they wrongly assessed Bohachuk's chances. It seems like people were ignoring Bohachuk's last performance vs. Mendoza, and decided to place more value in the Adams stoppage loss. Vergil was fighting his first real 154lb test. Vergil did whatever he needed to do to give himself a chance at victory: he brawled, boxed, countered. As the difficulty of opponent increases, previously unknown vulnerabilities can emerge. I won't fault Vergil for that, but it does make me doubt his chances against Crawford.

That's why they mae fights, too see who would win. If everyone knew who would win then there is not point of making a fight. Crawford is old, small, I don't think he has the same power as he had at 147.

The same can probably be said for Vergil because they're now punching with 10oz gloves. Both are moving up from 147, so I don't see size being a huge factor. Their fight night weights will probably be similar. The age/experience gap will be an important factor. The sooner the fight happens, the better for TC. He cannot afford more inactivity.

I was just telling someone that Norman Jr. might the best pathway to a title shot @ 154, for Boots Ennis! Eddie wants Boots to unify at 147, before going to 154, CHECK! WBO will force the 154 Champion to fight Boots, or vacate! Will they vacate? Who knows, it's already happened once! They can run, but they can't hide! Now if Teo really wants smoke @ 147, Boots should give it to him! However, if Teo is just clout chasing, then Boots (Turki) should make an offer to Brian Norman Jr. ASAP!!!

                    Good morning!

Correct. I've been trying to take a holistic view of the Ennis/Norman/Teofimo situation, rather than treating like Teofimo like the lead protagonist of the story. Teofimo may want something, but what does Ennis or Norman want? What will Top Rank allow? Teofimo thinks he's entitled to whatever fight he wants in whichever state he wants, but he's delusional. Lopez wants to interfere into 147lb business when he hasn't even finished at 140lb. Ennis/Norman makes more sense than Ennis/Lopez. Whether the match-up is "BIG" should not matter if Turki is involved.

It would be good for boxing if Turki can get Bob and Eddie to play together!!! Ennis vs. Norman could be the Peacemaker!
