Now that we know Ortiz is packing a biscuit chin, how may rounds does it take Craw-daddy to Ice his ***?

Crawford definitely knocks him down a bunch of times. Not really because Ortiz has a bad chin, though. His balance is atrocious and he throws sloppy punches.

WTF is a biscuit chin? Doughy and able to absorb?

Yeah, he loads up way too much and often misses wildly when he does. You have to believe that Crawford or any good natural counter-puncher would take advantage of this and drop him. Vergil's got a good chin and I give him a 10/10 in heart and guts, but he can be stopped.

It depends on if Ortiz decides to fight scared like Madrimov.

I don't know about that. Ortiz is not Madrimov who just jumps up and down and not throwing any punches. Ortiz would be bored doing that time-consuming nonsense with only 3 minutes per round. Ortiz would rather launch missiles and bombs.

And I don't think Crawford is interested in Ortiz. Fans would have more chances in seeing him accept a fight with Teo Lopez. I don't know if he's still interested in Jermell Charlo, who is huge as he found out size makes big difference in boxing.

It's surprising to hear so many fans continue to argue that Madrimov fought scared against Crawford. Madrimov is the both the stronger guy and the bigger puncher. He fought that way very intentionally to get Crawford to lead and to avoid getting countered to death, and it worked surprisingly well. Crawford was confused and unable to attack the way he is accustomed to doing, for most of the fight. For my money, Madrimov fought brilliantly and actually outboxed the top boxer in the world for big stretches of the fight. In the end I don't sweat the decision too much because I do wish Madrimov opened up a bit more in the championship rounds and went for broke. I'd like to see a rematch, but that's not going to happen.
