Nothing competitive will come out of Crawford/canelo even bomac is starting to state it, the weight difference will be to much for Crawford… I for damn sure ain’t defend canelo/berlanga but Turki is coming off as a scorn lover the moment he face a little resistance from a fighter which in turn will turn a lot of fighters away from working with him eventually

I know that you know but didn't tell the entire story because it doesn't fit your narrative. 1st, Crawford was fighting for a championship belt in a new weight class. 2nd, Crawford was guaranteed $2.5 million and made another $8 million after ticket sales and PPV But again, you knew that.

As long as Turki has been financing boxing, Canelo has been hiring his opponents to lose and with the help of the corrupt sanctioning bodies, Canelo successfully forced everybody he's afraid to fight, out of the division.

But hey, if you're into that sort of thing, pay $90 for the Canelo's next fight knowing that every analist, trainer and fighter on earth say Berlanga has zero chance.

You can try to twist the facts if you like. No offense here. I don't care. The ONLY reason we are getting the fights this year that we haven't in the past few years are the vastly increased (or inflated) purses for the fighters. You cannot tell me that after years of circling each other, Betrebiev and Bivol have suddenly agreed to fight each other for any other reason than a truck full of money that was never on offer in the past. Same for Fury and Usyk. How do you think we got a stacked card two weekend ago? Same way - a truck full of money.

I appreciate the fights he has secured. It doesn't mean I have to like the guy or his entitled attitude.

And Morell, for example. I'd like to know what he earned for that lackluster performance. I guarantee it wasn't much and everybody isn't earning on the back end.

1. Canelo will never go anywhere near the inside of a boxing ring with Beterbiev until he sees Biev age overnight. And at 40, it could happen. But the current version of Biev knocks Canelo out and ends his career brutally.

Beterbiev is a career light heavyweight; he's been at that weight class his entire career. Canelo has fought at light heavy twice, and those were both largely stunts. It's clear that Canelo doesn't belong in the light heavyweight division. He's not a 175-lber. He started his career at 147 and slowly worked his way up, but his build and stature are not suited to the light heavyweight division. He is at least 3 inches shorter than Beterbiev, with a 3-inch shorter reach. Instead of insisting that Canelo move up to his FIFTH weight class, why don't you ask Beterbiev to take on a challenge and move up to his SECOND? The double standard is silly.

2. Alot of you all really don't understand that Turki is going to be the last gasp for the sport. He isn't being a dictator, he is offering big money to make the best fight the best. He is exposing guys like Canelo for ducking. I am a fan of Tim but apparently he has priced himself out. Too bad.

Another Chicken Little "the sky is falling." Oh heavens, boxing is dying. Please save us, we'll do whatever you ask! Ridiculous. Turki is a dictator. Canelo never turned him down...all Canelo said was that he didn't want to take about his next fight until after his current fight - WHICH IS A VERY COMMON, VERY REASONABLE POSITION TO TAKE, AS ANYONE WHO HAS BEEN AROUND THE SPORT FOR FIVE MINUTES WOULD KNOW - and Turki responded with an ultimatum and then a tantrum, blasting Canelo. And no one even knows why he blew up at Tszyu...perhaps he didn't email back quickly enough.

Those are hardly the actions of a smart, reasonable, strategic businessman. Pinning your hopes on someone as apparently arrogant and volatile as Turki would make boxing even more of a mess than it already is.

3. All the "This Turki guy is a dictator and we don't need a dictator in boxing, it is bad for the sport, etc". Lol. There are many promoters in boxing and there always will be. Turki is a fan who sees through the bull**** and has the money to make fighting the best fighters make sense monetarily....which is supposedly what Canelo says he wants, the biggest paydays.

Sees through the bull****? That's no special quality. ANYONE WITH TWO EYES can see boxing's flaws and bull****. Turki is a fanboy who has limited knowledge of the sport and its business. Crawford vs. Benavidez at 160 lbs? Pressuring Jared Anderson to switch trainers and then seeing him immediately get KO'ed. LOL LOL Tell me you DKSAB without telling me.

No, he's a diva because he throws public tantrums and insults fighters the moment things don't go EXACTLY as he wants them to. All Canelo did was suggest that they wait to discuss the next fight for a few weeks and Turki flies off the handle.

Flying off the handle at a moment's notice over nothing...pronouncing himself the face of the sport...doing long-winded, poorly produced cards with few paying fans...insisting on making ridiculous matchups across multiple weight classes...This is just the tip of the iceberg. As more and more fighters witness how he does business, there will be many more joining Canelo, Tank, Tszyu and others in saying no thanks.
