Yea Turki is probably not a playa in Saudi like everyone thinks. He's probably the nephew of some Saudi Sultan that was a family fuq up and they gave him a fake made up position EMPORER OF FIST'TI CUFFS! He's definitely not important enough to participate in the monthly beheading meetings. Maybe occasionally they allow him to pick the rocks used for the 'stoning of the wives' festival in the town square!Comment

to be fair to turki he is paying good cash, the people who dont want his cash are the people who dont want to fight the fights he wants them to fight, as in the fights most if not all fans want to see, he is weeding the duckers and marinators out and shining a light on them, of course u have these guys fangirls defending them and attacking turki because they are triggered by it allComment

This is the thing though, of which Canelo & Tim both seem to be aware; yes, Alalshikh has the silliest money but this foo' is not the only person writing checks in boxing and has never written a check for either fighter iirc. Pretty damn sure Canelo's gonna evolve into a bit of a check-writer himself in decades to come so there's that too, in his instance.
Always remember that everything comes at a price, including money. Maybe Saul & Timmy have decided that the price of the Saudi money is too high for them, regardless of how inflated the purses may be right now.Comment

It's never about money for Tim Tszyu. He chased fighters not because of the paycheck. Have never seen him price himself out of a fight. We've all seen the opposite behavior with others. Maybe he's young and would eventually pick fights based on the size of the offer. Maybe he just simply lets his management team decide the business part of his career. Who knows, maybe they don't need Alalshikh.
I wish Tim luck, better luck then Wilder.... but it's not looking good.Last edited by factsarenice; 08-12-2024, 02:30 PM.Comment

Nobody can't earn that right, they are entertainers getting pay millions by us, I don't care about their antics neither their personal lives, what I do care is to watch the best possible matches, and yes once in a while they can squeeze a no hope in to fill out the schedule or a part-time for easy cash, but when you're holding a major belt or all the belts, and you don't defend those belts against worthy opponents, and go out of your way to do it and declared yourself the king and can do whatever you want, even holding a whole division development, you're a piece of $h1t and thinks that he is bigger than the sport that took him out of poverty. The fans that agree with this behavior are no fans of the sport.Comment

It's $90.00 for a Brelanga fight and as an American fan it's up to you to put that on a charge card and support that show.
As for "American promoters should pick up the slack"? What slack? Eddie and DAZN kiss Canelo's ass for fighting their no hope stable and Tim Tszyu has a shyt promoter that sold him out for a few million and got screwed for a rematch that was never going to happen.
