I noticed that the words Riyadh season were on the canvas for the Ortiz-Bohachuk fight, even though it doesn't seem like they were involved in the promotion.

Maybe as a sponsor, or Golden Boy understandably being extra nice to Turki, the money man.

Crawford is too much for Ortiz. It's not the best "next fight" for him, it's just a money grab to appease Turki.

Did you watch the fight? both knockdowns he was off balance and half slipped with literally zero impact when he got back to his feet. Not only that Bohachuk didn’t even wobble him for the entire fight. Quite how you conclude Bohachuk might stop him next time around is a bit baffling.

Agree Crawford would do a much better job of finding those holes in Ortiz defence that Bohachuk was unable to capitalise on. Crawford would most likely stop Ortiz around the half way mark.

Only reason Ortiz and pretty much no one else fought for a title at 147 was due to spence and Crawford dithering for years before Spence grew a pair and got battered.

That is not true. Just check how many people challenged Spence and Crawford in the last 3 years. Just for Spence it was Ugas, Porter, Mikey Garcia, Danny Garcia. Ortiz never stepped up. Not sure why but most likely his team / promoter did not think he was ready.

Well he hit him twice man and he went down. Either he has bad legs now or he has been exposed as chinny. If he fights like that against Terence Crawford he gets stopped.

It was decent of Robert Garcia to acknowledge Bohachuk's effort and state 'he deserves' a rematch. But he's not going to get one, unless he can make in-roads elsewhere and they meet down the road.

I enjoy watching Vergil fight but ever since his collapse I feel like he's a disaster waiting to happen. That said, he fought well last Saturday against a well matched opponent and I was in boxing heaven every second of the fight.

Just to clarify not all people are Boots haters who say that he does not deserve a fight with Crawford. I like Boots and I think he is a terrific fighter. Visually he seems to be one of the best. Unfortunately he does not have the resume to support that claim. Also he is not a ppv star and he does not have a belt at 154 so he does not have a lot to offer to the elite at 154. That is why they are not going to fight him. High risk, very low reward. So every negative comment against Boots does not mean that people hate him. It just means he needs to do more to prove himself to the fans.

I just seen a YouTube short of Vergils face after the fight. Damn, I think that fight did take something from him.
