I was thinking 10/9 in real time when the knockdowns happened. In this scenario, Ortiz can easily have won on the cards based on what my eyes told me.

Another thing - sometime around Round 9 or 10, Vergil started moving and boxing actively with a constant snappy jab that set Bochunk [I like that nick, I think I'll use it] up for some power shots that had him a bit wobbled more than once. It was a brilliant tactical shift from Ortiz that really paid off for him.

    1. I didn't know Vergil had it in him to move and stick a power jab like that. I was impressed.
    2. Since he obviously could do it, why did it take Roberto Garcia nearly the entire fight to have Vergil make the change? Clearly, the toe-to-toe battle wasn't wearing down Bochunk to the point of a convincing win (in my opinion). I'm left thinking that Garcia was a little slow on the uptake there, but it's easy for me to do some Sunday morning QB-ing obviously.
And why did Virgil stop going to the body when it was very successful for him
That’s what was making that hard overhand right land

I keep thinking Garcia needed to do better between rounds with his instructions.

I agree and at one point Virgil asks why
Meaning in his head he thought he was winning the fight
          A corner needs to direct
Garcia became that in the 10th when he clearly told him he needed to decisively win the next three rounds

It was a great fight. It could have gone either way and I wouldn't cry about it, even though I thought Vergil edged it. Bochunk doesn't seem to have the best footwork, so the two times where I thought he was wobbled could have been a balance/coordination thing, but in the context of the exchanges, I say he was wobbled. Does wobbled = hurt? Not necessarily, but maybe.

Please count me in as one of the ass wipe commentators, because yeah, I'm an ass wipe when I need to be. Everyone should be, and if you're not, other people will let you know real quick.

This is corrupt boxing at it's worst. I never scored the fight but I knew the scoring would only go one way if wasn't scored a draw which would have been fair IMO.

He's spending the Saudi Governments money anyway. Supposedly all of this is some sort promotion for tourism in Saudi Arabia.
I don't know about anyone else but I can't think of a single reason why I would want to vacation in Saudi Arabia. What is there to do there ? You sure aren't going to find much nightlife and you can forget hooking up with any local women ,even though that part of the world has a lot of really beautiful women imprisoned.... Ooops , I meant "living there". There aren't any interesting archeological sites as far as I know either. They do have some nice beaches and good dive sites , but so do a lot of places , places where you have a lot more freedom.

Congratulations, your non profit concern for a wealthy person statement has just reached new levels of ignorance -
