Regardless of what ppl think about the scorecards
I think both guys would also beatdown Spence clearly.

They would have a decent shot against Crawford.
The Spence win is just so overblown.

Incredibly lucky timing for Bochunk is more like it.
      THIS

I was thinking 10/9 in real time when the knockdowns happened. In this scenario, Ortiz can easily have won on the cards based on what my eyes told me.

Another thing - sometime around Round 9 or 10, Vergil started moving and boxing actively with a constant snappy jab that set Bochunk [I like that nick, I think I'll use it] up for some power shots that had him a bit wobbled more than once. It was a brilliant tactical shift from Ortiz that really paid off for him.

      1. I didn't know Vergil had it in him to move and stick a power jab like that. I was impressed.
      2. Since he obviously could do it, why did it take Roberto Garcia nearly the entire fight to have Vergil make the change? Clearly, the toe-to-toe battle wasn't wearing down Bochunk to the point of a convincing win (in my opinion). I'm left thinking that Garcia was a little slow on the uptake there, but it's easy for me to do some Sunday morning QB-ing obviously.

Tom Loeffler can thank Chato Robles a trash trainer who sat and watched his fighter give away the last 3 rounds, blowing a huge payday with Crawford

You only get 3 or 4 of these types of fights before they start taking a toll. I give credit to two evenly match fighters, they both deserve credit for daring to be great.

If I were a betting man I'd take Serhii, Madrimov and Ortiz to stop both Fundora and Errol Spence. More over, I'd put money on Serhii, Madrimov and Ortiz to out working both Tim Tszyu and Murtazaliev.

I know adding Tim Tszyu may seem controversial but keep in mind, Tim Tszyu pulled out of the Ortyiz fight for a cut that didn't exist when he was doing interviews, and Tim even bragged about it. I can only conclude that either Tim and, or, -Rose didn't want another tough fight. And yes, Tim was talking about a fight Ortiz last night but that's not what he'll do, mark my words, Tim has no intention of fighting Ortiz any time soon.

It's very hard to go against Vergil after he came back especially after the 2nd knockdown to dominate that round. And then to completely outbox and outfight Bohachuk in 10,11 and 12 was worthy of a close decision imo .Crawford is a different beast but I'm not going to underestimate Vergil.

Styles make fights and yes, I always thought Spence had too many flaws to beat Crawford and Fundora gets caught to cleanly too often to survive. That said, unless Crawford gets old over night, he beats both Ortiz and Serhii more easily then he did Madrimov because neither guy are as tricky as Madrimov.

That's not true though. There's no extra credit for being the title holder. They go into the fight with a blank scorecard , same as the challenger. The saying " You have to take the title from the Champ" is false and people should stop spreading it.

                    These judges made Vladimir Putіn
proud with how they just took away what rightfully belonged to a Ukrainian.

Excellent points. I was also impressed with that stick and move by Ortiz , you're right, he should have started that earlier. He had Bohachuk befuddled with it and was landing some really nice shots. That was working a lot nicer than waiting to try to counter with the overhand right. Had Vergil boxed like that starting around the mid point of the fight I think that he would have had a really good shot of stopping Bohachuk. Credit to Serhii , that's one tough dude , he can really take a lot of punishment .
