Overall, it was a close fight but the right man won. I couldn’t find six rounds I could give to Bohachuk. Aside from the knockdowns; I had Vergil Ortiz decisively and convincingly winning this fight.Comment

No, I could see Bud slapping Ortiz around. If most boxing fans believe he lost to Bohachuk then just imagine what Bud Crawford would do to him? If Serhii could drop him then Terence will stop him.Last edited by champion4ever; 08-11-2024, 01:14 AM.Comment

If Buhachuk was the challenger and knocked down twice, no way in a million years would anyone be giving him a draw or win. It was a classic A side robbery. You are basically giving Ortiz every swing round.Comment

Even though it was a close fight, and in my opinion a draw and Ortiz did not win impressively, I feel he gives everyone at 154 a run for their money including Tszyu and Crawford. He is very tough. Does not have the stamina for a 12 round war, I felt he gassed after round 3 and then came back later on on will power alone. Lots of tough fights ahead at 154.Comment

None of the judges had Bohachuk winning more than 5 rounds.
So how could he have won that fight even with those two point deductions from Vergil Ortiz due to the two knockdowns?
Two of the judges had Ortiz winning eight rounds and the other had him winning seven rounds. On the 10 point must system excluding the knockdowns are scores of 116-112 twice and a score 115-113 once.
All in favor of the winner Vergil Ortiz, Jr.Comment

Turki Alalshikh comes across as a wealthy casual that wants to put fights together because he can, not because he can profit. I have no desire to see Ortiz VS Crawford. The intrigue and the money is in Crawford VS Canelo. If Crawford still wants that fight, that's the fight Turki Alalshikh should make.
Crawford beats Ortiz, btw.
Turki is not looking to make a profit. He has plenty of money.
