Great thing about Morrell is: he didn't look mediocre against Hot Rod at 30, he looked mediocre at 26. He has time on his side.

The guy is not easy for any 175. He hurt him a couple of times, so I don't worry, beside he has time to acclimate to the new weight training regime. Haven't seen a fighter steamrolling everyone. None.

Well moving from 160 to 175 and getting a KO is more impressive moving one weight class to beat an unknown. What has Hot Rod done lately?

Well, if kovalev was in his prime when canelo knocked him out, first I'd be his #1 fan and definately that would have been his most impressive performance. But as we all know the guy was spent, past his prime and has already been knocked out three times. And yes he moved from 160 to 175 for that fight, not for the real fight at 175 where he had two better options, he was testing the waters, felt good and then went for the kill, I respect that. Hot rod was knocked out by berteviev and proceeded to win 5 fights in a row was 4 ko's

Wasn't Kovalev a light Heavy weight Champ at the time he face Canelo?

Was Hot Rod a Champ when he face Hot Rod?

So? He was 36yo, coming out of two ko's in his last three fights, two full camps within three months and a grueling 12 rounds fight, alcoholic with domestic problems. Last 10 fights, from 2016 to 2024, he is 5-5 with 3 of the loses by way of ko. There's your champion, that's why I replied that he had two better choices, two real champs in berteviev and bivol, and that I understood the reason behind it because he went for bivol, but There's no credit on kovalev but a lot with bivol. And Hot Rod is 33yo, is not an alcoholic, since his loss vs Beterbiev he was 5-0 with 4ko had enough time to prepare. Did you see the difference?

Yup Canelo move up 2 Division and stop the guy. Morrell only went up one weight Class and went to decision. Lets see Morrell vs Bivol who now is 3 years older. He didn't look impressive, doubt there is any hype(demand) for that fight unless Turki pays for it.

It will be. And canelo beat a dead body, just like he is going to do with berlanga and couldn't do with ryder, nor munguia.ike I said, you can't ko everyone not even some that you just need to push them. Don't understand the idolatry with a guy that practically is $h1tting on your feelings.

They are both weak victories, nothing special about Morell. Canelo is already 34. Lets see Morell vs Benavidez vs Bivol. Anyone after 33 is already seen his best days. Can't give fighters credit for beating anyone beyond that age. If Benavidez or Morell beat Canelo, means nothing. Bivol beating Canelo didn't mean anything, beating a smaller guy. He still was in the undercard in the 5 vs 5.

You in love, that's why you're blinded to the truth. The above statements are fabrication of what you want people to believe but not what you know the truth is. Poor canelo, he was beat by a bigger man bivol, which by the way never used his size only his talent, and this bigger man offered canelo to fight at 168 and he refused, kovalev was bigger than bivol but you're giving credit him for the win. I think is hypocrital on your part coming out with this excuses. Yes, anyone that beats ginger while holding those belts will mean the world for then and to the boxing community, finally a guy that would take on the best and got rid of a diva.
