Comments Thread For: Preparing for Daniel Dubois, Anthony Joshua says fans 'want to see dominance'

On Sept. 21, Anthony Joshua will face IBF heavyweight champion Daniel Dubois at Wembley Stadium. Should Joshua, 28-3 (25 KOs), beat his fellow Londoner, he will recapture the belt he first won against Charles Martin more than eight years ago. Yet this is a much more mature and considered Joshua than the ultra confident wrecking machine who brushed Martin aside inside two rounds.

joshua is not bad at all, he dominates a certain level of opponent well but hes been dominated himself as well, thats boxing some fights styles are tougher than others and always will be, very few if any dominate all

AJ is denying that he got KTFO by Dubois is sparring. Plain and simple, he doesn’t want to remember what happens and is lying. Knowing how fragile AJ is mentally, Dubois should capitalize on this sparring session experience. Certainly, Dubois know AJ’s chin and mental state is questionable AJ will be very very careful exposing his chin. Dubois is a very live dog.

I'd be lying if i said i don't want to see Big Doobie dominate and force Princess Joshy to his knees.

Of course, I'd also like to see AJ knock Doob clean the fück out and set up a rematch with Parker.

Though i reckon Fisheyes has the 1 way rematch clause for Doobie lined up. Anything to put extra mileage on their clocks and become a little more shopworn...

Careful there AJ! Remember that DDD can still punch. If you make one mistake you could find yourself climbing off the canvas attempting to beat the ten count.

Fight smart and cautiously by winning this fight on points. If you do that then chances are that Dubois just might quit again.

However, if you decide to exchange and trade punches with him. Then his confidence level would soar through the roof.

Boy, AJ is one of those fighters that there just seems to be a long line of people just giddy when he fails. Come to think of it, there is a shorter but still impressive line of people happy when Dubois fails.

Regardless of how this tussle turns out, I feel the loser gets way more hate on these boards than the winner gets love.

They have both been beaten badly in the past and even though they both have a little momentum going into this fight don't anyone kid themselves that this is to see who is the heavyweight champion of the world ...it's NOT ...it's a paper championship ...period! . We know it's Uysk , also both would be betting favourite to lose to Fury. This is more like the bragging rights to London , a southern area title fight would be more appropriate at this time.It should be fun whilst it lasts, so enjoy , but don't be fooled!
