womens 800m in Rio olympics, all 3 medal winners tested for high testos levels

now would these ladies be dangerous in a boxing ring, yeah probably they would actually if they were trained
I didn't know that Rey Vargas had won the 800m in Rio...

how do u know how much an appeal to CAS costs and how do u know they didnt appeal because of whatever cost it is?

If you have (your words) a corrupt organisation in the IBA accusing you of something you have not done or are not surely the first thing you would do would be appeal this ruling to CAS to clear your name for all time, if you have nothing to hide its a no brainer, this issue goes away if you win your appeal, you may even be able to sue them actually

But neither of these two athletes went ahead with any appeals, if you are going to pass whatever tests they want you to pass then even volunteer to take the tests and do it that way if u want as well, lots of options, none taken & back to the same thing again with them

Even the real arbiter of such matters is only batting .500 on this one. And I am referring to
Austin Powers: International Man of Mystery (1997)

        [Austin Powers punches disguised henchman]
Elizabeth Hurley: Why on earth did you hit that woman?
Austin Powers: Right, let me show you, baby. That ain't no woman. It's a man, man.
[removes wig and reveals obvious man]

        ...later in same movie...

        [Austin's boss introduces his mother]
Basil Exposition: Oh, Austin, I'd like you to meet somebody. This is my mother, Mrs. Exposition.
Mrs. Exposition: How do you do?
[Austin Powers punches Mrs. Exposition, knocking her down]
Basil Exposition: By God, man, what have you done???
Austin Powers: That's not your mother! It's a man, baby!
[Austin tries to pull off a wig but it's a real woman with real hair]

Because I’m not an ignorant idiot who refuses to read up on the issue and use common sense..the IBA themselves said an appeal didn’t proceed because “the appellant didn’t pay for the cost of the proceedings”. I read elsewhere they were facing costs upwards of £40,000, but even without this info, basic common sense will tell you that lawyers aren’t cheap. So yeah appealing to an independent court if you’re innocent is a no-brainer, but with what money?

The fact the IBA says they’d release details on the nature of the test at a conference but didn’t (I’m talking method, not even results), and initially stated they tested for high testosterone but then acknowledged they didn’t, and are in any case now banned from officiating amateur boxing tells me all I need to know.

Tbh I do believe she is benefitting from some kind of genetic advantage, as are many athletes, but what I find so dumb is ignorant people blindly latching onto the words of a discredited organisation with 0% transparency and declaring that someone unquestionably declared a female at birth is somehow a male.

ive done a bit more reading on these appeal costs, according to reports the athletes have most of the appeal paid for them and they only pay the remainder, they do not pay the full amount for the appeal

u see did u see the photo of the 3 ladies who won the medals at rio & all 3 were proven to have high testos levels, well the issue is that people knew and suspected there was an issue with them long before & it was flagged by athletes countries and others because they could see the looked different than other women, hence the su****ion & it was all proved correct in the end and its a long saga still going i think

its the same with these 2 boxers, people are doing the same thing as its suspected there is an issue somewhere and there most likely is an issue & yet its not OK to ask for clarity on this and fairness, get outa you weirdos i would say to that

                common sense

if u think about the issue, the much maligned IBA are actually only doing what they are supposed to do, protect the integrity of the sport and the athletes competing, they are supposed to respond to issues raised and investigate according to their rules, rightly or wrongly, its the IOC who are blindly saying there is nothing to investigate and actually they have now changed that tune after a bit of a back lash calling the issue 'complicated' so even they suspect there is an issue

and thinking about it further, these athletes may well have the condition that caster semenya has, its called Difference of sexual development

"It was in the Cas ruling that Semenya's specific DSD was confirmed as 46 XY 5-ARD (5-alpha-reductase deficiency). People with this particular DSD have the male XY chromosomes. Some are assigned female or male at birth depending on their external genitalia"

So CAS ruled on her case and confirmed what people suspected, maybe thats why neither of these 2 went to CAS for a ruling, quite likely i would say

Think about it again, if u were accused of having a male chromosome all u have to do is volunteer to take a test to disprove it if u are so sure about it, very simple actually but not done either, so what do u want people to think or do if u wont make any effort to clear things up when the avenues are available to do so

The simplest and most rational solution for this and all sports competitions is to have a female class (real women must show their panochas) and an Open Class for men, transtesticles, brave women and anyone else.

We just need the right fringe culture warriors to f-ck off with their fake protecting women’ s sports BS.

They just get off attacking tr-nnies and arguing with people that disagree with them

None of them watch women’s sports until a controversy comes up.

Well in fairness they do watch gymnasts and volleyball players but that is for self pleasuring.
