This is great news. PAC needs to be at his best for this fight. He could take Cotto out early. That's when he is most vulnerable IMO

This seems to be a common theme with people the higher in weight Pac goes. The lower weights are more used to speed, these bigger guys have never seen guys as fast as Pac.
Very good point. Plus the dismissing of "El Gato" from the Cotto camp was a big mistake me thinks. El Gato is the only one of the 3 sparring partners of Cotto with real fighting experience and has a similar style to MP. IMO, MP will be too fast for Cotto. If Cotto starts to stalk MP (and comes in too many times) he'll be eating a lot of leather before he can throw one body shot. By then, MP will be long gone and out of his reach. "Your fist can't hit, what your eyes can't see." Ali

MP in 4, if not in 8. Will send Cotto to his MRI date.

Really, you think? IMO, MP was too fast for ODLH & RH for them to ever get a good angle to land a flush shot. IMO, that's what's going to happen with MC; MC will try to stalk and back MP in a corner or on the ropes to start working on MP's body. But that won't happen, you should know by now that MP will work the ring. MC is sparring with inexperienced sparring-partners, that will give MC a false sence of security. El Gato was the only one that had experience, and had similar moves of MP - but they fired him. Oh well. After the 1st round, he'll start having self-doubt like RH did when he fought MP.

In the end there shouldn't be any excuses as both fighters will give it there all--but the advantages are with Cotto--size, strength, supposedly better boxing skills.

Yup. Its very rare for a sparring partner to say negative things.
