I would prefer a rematch with Madrimov and I think Bud would stop him this time. I think he would make the necessary adjustments by not getting hit with those lead right hands so much.
However, he would have to fight this fight in his orthodox stance rather than the southpaw stance. It's because Israil proved that he is really good at fighting against southpaws.
Fighting in the southpaw stance leaves Bud very vulnerable to Madrimov's lead right hands. They never hurt him because he saw them coming. Nonetheless, they were still eye-catching blows for the three official judges.

I thought TBud would fight orthy to invite Israil's body jab and counter it with an overhand or left hook
He can stop Israil by focusing on a body attack
I think Israil can win too if he figures out how to land the jab upstairs. he would have won fight 1 had he gotten the jab upstairs working

Now with this I can agree. Crawford fought south paw ln order to neutralize Madrimov’s jab. However, he compensated for the loss of his jab by constantly shooting those lead right hands.
I believe Bud felt he could have eaten those right hands a lot better than he could have eaten those jabs because at least from the South paw stance he could at least see those right hands coming.
However, fighting in orthodox; It would have been difficult to see those many right hands coming in behind a jab.
A good jab has a tendency of temporarily blinding an opponent for a split second just before those right hands land.
Which could have left Crawford potentially stunned or even badly hurt by them.
Crawford vs Canelo is still the biggest payday for Crawford and it doesn't need to be paid for by Turkii.
Crawford against any non-legendary fight won't net him much for is pockets or legacy. Crawford knows that a potential win against Canelo would put him at a level beyond Pacquiao, Floyd, Tyson, and Ali. That is what he wants and it is now or never.
