Trust me, soon he will know better In due time. He will find out that all roads lead to your Excellency. Just ask Eddie Hearn, Frank Warren or even Oscar De La Hoya.
All of these promoters are kissing the ring. This has been the best thing that has happened to boxing in the past 25 years.
Boxing fans are finally getting the matchups that we wanted to see.
Truer words have never been spoken. We are finally getting the fights we should be getting.
Hopefully Tank-Shakur gets made soon.

Canelo is still other fighter's golden ticket. Canelo is giving EB and Munguia a payday that Turkii would have never done, amongst others. Sure those aren't the biggest fights he can make, but this helps other boxers get paid as well as the promoters and everyone else involved. Canelo is fkn putting food on the table for sport.
If Turkii really respects the sport, he needs to respect Canelo, but instead Turkii is acting like a spoiled child who thinks he can make anyone do what he want for money.
I think Crawford will still want the Canelo fight. Yes for money, but also to attempt to push his legacy to the stratosphere. Crawford vs anyone won't come close to the type of money he can get fighting Canelo. Sure Turkii can continue to pay Crawford 2.5m to fight non-legendry fighters but he's done that his whole career for 1m a pop at espn... Turkii isn't really giving him much more. Crawford doesn't have any other options that would net him as big a payday as Canelo.
Honestly Crawford and Canelo can fight in May without Turkii and Crawford will make way more than Turkii is paying him now...
Also fk Turkii for asking Canelo to negotiate while Canelo is in camp and worse ask Canelo to give up his May 5th weekend.. That not only belongs to Canelo but the Mexican, Mexican American, Latino, and American boxing community. Turkii thinks he can just come in and change our cultural holiday with his money. Fk off..
Also let Turkii and UFC compete with Canelo on on Sept 16 weekend.. They well see it won't affect Canelo's bottom line.Last edited by ReggieKray; 08-07-2024, 03:04 AM.Comment

However, if he continues to persist on over pricing himself by making unreasonable demands like $250mil. Then no us boxing would never get the Canelo vs Benavidez fight.

That was not a credible fight lol. GGG was 40, inactive and never had fought at 168. It was a cherry pick. His last credible opponent was Bivol and that only happened because it was a cherry pick gone wrong. They thought he was a basic average euro fighter.Comment

Biggest claim to fame is gathering his handful of fans and a bunch of Canelo haters to rally around him and make him into this mythical boogeyman. Used to, you'd see boogeymen in the ring, now, it's all about the clicks on social media. Benavidez and Morrell are prime examples.
Plant
Andrade
And Gvozdyk.
All very credible and leagues better than old GGG, Ryder, Mungia and Berlanga. lul.Comment
