Joel Diaz is one of the worst trainers in the sport
Him admitting that a draw would of been a good result explains it all , the mindset
There is no fughin way that Madrimov won 6 to 8 rounds unless the judges were calculating his feinting without throwing anything
He came to survive and it was very very evident

That’s an interesting point and deserves attention and brings up the question, how does one score an even round? This is a question for Breadman. You should write inComment

I don’t need Stephen Breadman to tell me how to score an even round. Scoring an even round is the easiest thing in the world. It’s infinitely harder to split hairs and justify scoring a 10-9 round for a guy who did nothing more than the other (effectively giving one guy full credit and the other none), and yet it happens every single fight, over and over again.Last edited by TheOneAboveAll; 08-07-2024, 09:43 PM.Comment

One of the worst trainers in the world? He trained a fighter to completely change his style and arguably outbox the top p4p fighter in the world. Joel Diaz seems to be a real s**tbag human being based on what I’ve heard about how he treats his family but he’s anything but a bad trainer.
I always thought his fighters came in undertrained or maybe overtrained and never with a secondary plan
His comments about being happy if the fight were declared a draw says all I need to know about his trainingComment

I too watched the fight again and still had the same outcome. Crawford won fair and square. Joel Diaz know it and so does Eddie Hearn. Madrimov did good, he went for single shots only because he was scared of being countered like all other Crawford victims. That approach was good because Crawford did not get a chance to counter him and hurt him. He had to go on the attack in rounds 11 and 12 to secure the victory.Last edited by factsarenice; 08-14-2024, 11:03 AM.Comment

I was shocked to see the American judges counting the rounds. In the first 5 rounds, Crawford did almost nothing. But the judges gave 3 out of 5 in favor of Crawford. The interesting thing is that Crawford was very active in the 6th and 7th rounds. Rounds 6 and 7 should go to Crawford. three judges recorded 7 rounds in favor of Madrimov. A referee named Steve scored the 6th and 7th rounds in favor of Madrimov. believe me, these judges agreed to work for Crawford in advanceComment
