Bakole was the star of the night

    In my opinion.

Just a big, massive beast with an iron chin and devastating punching power. I’m he sure can be outboxed but I don’t see anyone being able to stand and trade with him or walk him down.

Yeah he did elevate himself significantly. If he can get revenge against Hunter, he will get a title shot, hopefully against Usyk.

        Yes, agreed.

He is the division darkhorse along with Kabayel

Huge, powerful, deceptively good defence (he does slip and roll with shots, rarely gets hit clean actually), super gas tank for his size, high output. There is something almost Foreman esque about him. Good punch variety, he puts his shots together well and double and triples up on them something I do not see from HWs outside of Usyk.

Rayo would be my second choice. But knocking out “the best American heavyweight” trumps winning by decision in the star power department I would say.

Andy Cruz was somewhat impressive too, but he struggled a bit with Moran and appeared to be hurt at one point.

Bakole was just flat out dominant.

Yes, he definitely does have a bit of a George Foreman quality to him.

he certainly impressed, ran right over Anderson who had all of the hype behind him. It seems like a kiss of death when they label someone the next great american HW.

He doesn't need it and Hunter damn sure doesn't need it.

Not unlike Vitali didn't need a rematch with Byrd.

Bakole needs some big fights against the top contenders, Hunter is no longer that.

I chuckle when I hear the best American heavyweight
More like the most overrated heavyweight in America
But yeah both were exemplary fights which divulged what not many knew
