Madrimov didn't win the fight. It was close, but bud still edged him. Any true boxing fan would know that this is not going to be an easy fight for bud. He moved up in weight against a strong, skilled guy who is durable and still won.

I expected a counterpuncher to do better against a guy with no jab upstairs

          Israil earned his rematch

I can't understand how any boxing fan can't see how that fight could be scored differently.

So many of the rounds were close.

I had a draw but I can completely understand it being scored either way.

              T-Bud won 7 to 8 rounds

Israil win 5 to 6 rounds

the upper bound is if you scored all the swings for them

given the range I’d expect more people to score it for T-Bud

peeling 5 rounds off a great is no small feat. 6 rounds is a draw. 5 means he was about stopped from a win

Very close and competitive fight. I thought Madrimov landed the bigger punches but Crawford landed combinations in the last rounds, which gave a better look, however, Crawford was almost always countered by a hard shot from Madrimov, so he was unable to really separate himself from the Euro fighter. It was a fight that could be scored differently, depending on the way you viewed it. I could have seen a win for Madrimov or a draw, but I liked the way Bud came out to fight the last round or two. Madrimov will never get a rematch...That fight was way too close for comfort.

T-Bud being a one fight a year guy lowers the chances of rematch

ah good ol Floyd would IMMEDIATELY rematch any opponent who was genuinely competitive

Floyd-maidans 1 was 8-4, this was like a 6-6, 7-5 for each fighter type of fight.

If you truely had it a draw then surely you could have seen it possibky 8-4 in either fighters favour by what you said
