Anderson showed some tremendous heart - he actually impressed a lot more people in losing to a high-ranked heavyweight than he did winning all of those fights over no-hopers. He’s got a long way back but I wouldn’t write him off yet - especially in the heavyweight division.

Anderson is done. Big Baby was a Big Dud. Man handled and slapped around like a rag doll. Maybe if he loses enough weight to be a Cruiserweight he can compete. My advice is to retire now unless you’re looking for another paycheck. If Jared fights any heavyweight with skills, it will be the same result. A big burnout and a flash in the pan.

This is not a shocking loss. Anderson is overrated, and was over hyped by promoters. He dodged a bullet a couple of times. He ran out of luck tonight.

Michael Hunter's KO win over Bakole has aged well, as has his competitive loss to Usyk. Bakole was in much better shape than in this fight.
