Gotta love the Mayweather guys who think that May fighting a guy 6 divisions down is comparable in any way to Pac fighting a guy a division up. The issue was always the giant divisional difference, not the sport they came from. If Mayweather wanted to take on the likes of Chingiz Allazov at 154, that would be a VERY different story than pulling a 122 lber up.

Where is Boxing Scene scraping up these bottom of the barrel writers? I agree Manny should not pursue a fight with Barrios. However, the exhibition was just that, an exhibition where each fighter is pulling their punches and not going for the kill. Manny wasn't hurt or struggling in the exhibition. Exhibitions are glorified sparring sessions with even less aggression. That's not Manny's forte, he doesn't make for interesting exhibitions because he is holding back his best. He actually showed a glimpse of his skills at the end of round three. That said, he appeared slow and his reflexes were way off. At 46 there is no path to a welterweight title for Pacquiao. Barrios is settled into 147, he isn't the same weight-drained fighter who lost to Tank.

While the fight was very entertaining and competitive, I want Pacquiao to stay retired.

In 3-round fights there is no luxury of in-depth analogy or time to find your range and fighters taking those fights know that, you either do it quicker or the other guy is simply better than you — and sadly what happened to Pac is the latter.

It wasn’t competitive for me because if you actually score the fight it’s 3-0 for Anpo, he also landed just as much punches in round 3 as pac for pac to steal the round in the last 20-30 seconds.

So if a novice boxer, with a relatively weak record even in own sport assesses a fight way faster than you and lands at will.. it shows you where you truly at. What could have happened the next rounds is irrelevant, how pacquiao adjusted in the last 20 seconds is irrelevant.. you either show you’re better inside 3 rounds or you’re not.

And they’re also calling what they’re seeing.. which was pac got dominated easily by a novice boxer, who has a relatively weak record even in his own sport. Exhibition or not Pac wanted to win, and we know Pac.

Kick whose ass? Anpo level guys or someone lesser than him?

Gotta love the Manny guys that went batshǐt crazy when Floyd started doing exhibition fights. They swore their idol would never ever do it.
And then Manny goes to fight a Korean YouTuber who has never fought professionally.

Next they told us that if they t makes Manny money then they support it but still continue with their double standards. Manny just fought a kickboxer. A guy shorter than Margarito and watch how they defend their idol while going in a rant about Floyd.

You can’t make this shǐt up.

So long as they are exhibitions he can choose whoever he wants and earn his money and snooze the audience. They are as boring as his sanctioned fights so I don’t pay to see them.

Meanwhile Manny beat a very tall Margarito (weight drained of course) but couldn’t beat a kickboxer! The hypocrisy is unrivaled.
And of course, Manny fought the great Korean YouTuber. Did you know about that legacy defining fight?
The double standards here is palpable.
