Nah he was gassed from round 1.. im a big fan but only reason he let his hands go in the last 30 seconds was because the fight was nearing its end, and he just spent the energy he was conserving. He was getting pushed around and tagged. First 2 rounds didn’t hit anything but air. If he can’t timed an unknown fighter with 8 losses and a novice boxer then he has no business going back in the pros.

I disagree with your assesment. He was trying to find his entry in the first 2 rounds. Only in the third round he finally got the timing and range right, and countered well. The bigger issue is Pacquaio was getting hit a lot while doing it, since his footwork isn't there anymore, and most likely his reflexes are gone too.

While the fight was very entertaining and competitive, I want Pacquiao to stay retired.
