WTF Pacquiao, stay retired and enjoy your life. Many great fighters have come back to get beat up for a few bucks. Bad idea.

I didn't see any of Pacquiao fight. I really hope that Manny doesn't fight Barrios. Pacquiao is an absolute legend. It would be a shame to see him get whooped by Barrios.

He should've retired after he beat Thurman. It was a feel good, fairy-tale ending. He looked like he had concrete shoes on vs Ugas.

Huge blunder on manny’s part to take part in this exhibition leading into what was a sure fire big PPV match for a title. But then again manny hasn’t always made the best decisions in his career

Pro boxing is a war of attrition. Guys like Michael Conlan and Luke Campbell are perfect examples of guys that can beat anyone for 3rds but once it goes into deeper water, they drown.
THIS is the perception a lot of people need on this forum. Precisely that. If anybody is in half decent shape and has boxing technique he/she can look phenomenal in those 3 rounds. What separates fighters from the elite is once you start going into the six, eight, ten rounders…never mind championship rounds. The stamina depletion hits hard.

You mentioned Michael Conlan and Luke Campbell. I’d like to add Zab Judah and Caleb Plant to the list. Terrific starters but start rattling and going off track the deeper the fight goes.

If you give Manny the benefit of the doubt with the mat padding being too thick, I thought he looked pretty damn sharp in the 3rd round, and probably would have knocked this guy inside of 10 rounds. Agreed though that his footwork looked similar to the Ugas fight, which is a red flag.

You relying on the wbc to show any level of morality or dignity is likely wasted. If they believe they can make money off of pac, they won’t care about his well being. Unfortunately, pac fans are a slow bunch as you can see them still defending his performance in this thread, so they’ll foolishly pay to watch him. Fight again even if it means him getting dog walked by Barrios.

Screw it, let Barrios splatter his ****** brains all over the canvas if that's what he wants. He's a politician anyway, he deserves extra brain damage.
