How much longer will Turki stay in Boxing??

He's not profiting at all. I love the fights that he's making I just wonder how long it will last.

Crawford is someone who started out at 140 and would be fighting in his fourth weight class as well…but he’s not going to 160…he’s going from a 154 pound debut (on Saturday), skips 160 and goes straight to 168…not against a contender, not against a paper champion, against CANELO. Canelo should be the huge favorite. I’m cautiously optimistic for Crawford but that’s a lot of weight to cover for his age.

Him toppling Canelo with those weight jumps would be akin to Pacquiao beating Marquez in the rematch at 130, ONE FIGHT at 135 against David Diaz, and then somersaulting up two weight classes towards Oscar at 147. Absolutely insane.

The Crawford win would be bigger though. Because in hindsight, we realize Oscar’s lifestyle and weight cut affected him. Still give credit to Manny, though. I think Steve Kim was one of only two or three boxing journalists picking Pacquiao in that fight.

I would love Crawford to pull this off but as of TODAY, I don’t like his chances. We’ll see how he is on Saturday…but I think Madrimov is going to look okay enough to end those talks. Maybe not beat Crawford…but okay enough for people to realize that Father Time and biology waits for no one.
Bud has the style, height, reach, footwork, engine, and fight IQ to outbox Canelo over 12 rounds. But it's like the Parker-Wilder game plan, all he has to do is not get caught for 36 mins. Against Canelo. A sharpshooter when it comes to accuracy and timing on those counters lol

Personally, I think 154 should be his final jump, but if he looks great and Canelo looks like meh, f*** it
T-Bud beating Alvarez would be the greatest single victory in history

right now it’s mostly eye test for him

T-BudWalvarez would put him in the discussion with Floyd & manny

Yeah, I honestly don't see Benny beating either of those guys. Bivol will outwork him, and Beterbiev might KO him.

It's hard to argue against that lol

Off top, I can't think of anyone who jumped up 2 weight classes to beat a p4p ATG

If Bud struggles at all with Madrimov, it will kill any chance at Canelo.

Canelo, "Benavidez is too big for 168, he's a weight bully. Crawford is too small. I'd be criticized for beating a smaller man." Turki, "I'll pay you a gazillion dollars to fight Crawford." Canelo, "Well, maybe we can work something out."

Right now, his goal is getting the top fighters (from HW down) to sign exclusively and co-promotionally with him. In the next 2-3 years, the major promotional outlets will be barren and he can successfully launch the league. If that happens, he's here to stay

Crawford is better off trying to become Undisputed at 154. 160 is a mess.
