Boots is unproven, that's my point. We don't even know if he's a hype job or not yet, but let's throw him in with the p4p? Come on lol

We all knew Canelo was going to be great beforehand, hence, why they promoted the event as "The One." He showed real defensive responsibility even against Mayweather

Boots.. ugh. Just a lot of loud talk from another fighter whose opinion of himself far exceeds anything he's let the rest of us in on

No doubt Canelo was the glamor boy when he fought Floyd, the draw scorecard says he was supposed to win and keep rising but Mayweather had other ideas, Boots doesnt have that image although Id much sooner Ennis than Avanesyan it could have happened then, but now Ennis has to do more to get it.

Yes, he does. The clout chase fizzled for failing to impress against Avanesyan. Getting caught with the same right by 3 different fighters shows Boots isn't very good at making adjustments. Bud wouldn't leave 2nd gear and Boots would end up like Lubin, a hot prospect who stepped up and got humiliated

Only 2 out of his 33 opponents were undefeated when he fought them. His team's been matching him up with opponents who already have a blueprint on how to beat them to make him look big & strong at 147 while simultaneously glossing over his struggling fight IQ and defensive irresponsibility (losing to Gary A Russell 3/4 in the ams and still fighting guys with double-digit losses by 20-0??)

Another solid veteran who isn't completely past it will tell us more. Something ala Jared Anderson v Charles Martin

Benavidez did expend quite a bit of energy trying to put a dent in Gvozdyk's armor. If the old guy had the right conditioning himself, or a few years back, he could have capitalized on that.

which makes Beter’s win over Gvozdyk impressive in hindsight

Beter broke down the body of a very brave Ukrainian until the Ukro could no longer continue

Oh yeah, Gvozdyk was dangerous. He damn near killed Stevenson and ended his career. Beterbiev is a machine!

Therefore, this loss will be an easier pill to swallow (just like Bivol).

Also, NOBODY wants to see this chit...we'd much rather see Canelo/Benavidez & Crawford/Boots instead!
Speak for yourself. I want to see Bud fight Canelo because I think he can beat him. Canelo don't want the Benavidez fight, if he did, we would be seeing it instead of Mungia and Berlanga fights. So the next best option is Canelo-Crawford

I don't know about that. Some may be giving Crawford more of a chance because of how badly he beat Spence. But Canelo isn't Spence. He's a freakin' coward for not facing Benavidez, but I think the old adage will hold true vs Crawford; A good big man beats a good little man every time.
