If Wilder wants to close his career with the win, Joyce is the right fight for him. Joyce still blocks every single punch with his face.

totally agree , both totally shot , Del Boy was ****ed after 6 min and joe couldn’t step in with a decent jab and left hand . It looked to me like joe has hand trouble , either that or he cannot punch properly. But 2 donkeys make a derby ,
Experienced veteran like chisora should in theory fight itauma but even Warren wouldn’t allow that as he knows he is way to far gone for itauma to get anything out of it .

Even if joyce had won . His team should have been advicing him to retire ! his style of high work rate and good punch resistance , have not aged well !

Remember when some of you boxing "experts" said Joyce would walk through Joshua? Because I do.

                Not only Zhang

                Zhang finished the job

The Joyce v Takam fight was the one where you could see the punches would stun him a bit more than usual. He took them but you could see it wasn't quite as comfortable as usual for him to take them

Parker probably chipped away at his chin too, as did Zhang in the first fight and finished it off in the second.

It doesn't matter how good your chin is because in boxing if you are literally using it as your first line of Defense then it's gonna get cracked sooner or later, especially when it's one fight too many after being cracked fight after fight.

I don't even think the best chins in history could withstand fighting the way Joyce does. That's why good Fighters with elite chins still care about not getting hit. It's just not sustainable to fight the way he does without getting your chin cracked over time .

And that Chisora fought Vitali. It feels like a few eras ago that Vitali was a fighter.

I will be interested to see and hear Don Charle's reaction to this fight 'Beating Joyce I would say is in Chicora's top-4 best wins'.

I stated before the fight, that? I was surprised by Joe Joyce's conditioning 'And if there was any correlation between his fighting weight and performance, then Joyce was not going to improve much from his last fight'.

I was more impressed with Derek Chisora's conditioning 'Chisora in preparation for this fight, clearly trained with the primary objective to win. I have been slightly critical of Chisora's attitude towards fighting in the past since I would say? His fight vs Oleksandr Uysk'.

When Derek Chisora fought Oleksandr Uysk, from my observation that seemed like the last fight were 'Chisora trained with the primary intention of winning. You could see this by who he was working with in training camp, and his attitude towards Oleksandr Uysk'.

But after that fight, Chisora seemed to be content with just promoting his WarChisora brand 'Which consisted of him being involved in entertaining fights, pushing his opponent's but not always having the primary intention of winning. Because if people are honest, the WarChisora brand has not been about winning and being the best'.

The WarChisora brand, was all about a certain demographic of boxing fans 'Being able to turn up to a fight night, sing a few songs and see Derek Chisora be involved in a violent fight. The brand has not been reliant on Derek Chisora actually winning, which is a very unique concept especially in this era boxing'.

Note: Great win for Derek Chisora, and the WarChisora brand keeps on moving towards its conclusive destination and fight. There are some great fights that can be made for Chisora from this point, and? One of those fights would be the third fight with Dillian Whyte 'There is a intriguing theme and story in the fighters rivalry. The timing of the fight, also makes a lot of sense for both fighters at this stage of their careers'.

To Conclude: Since Joe Joyce lost twice back to back to Zhilei Zhang, the aura of invulnerability that was gaining momentum around Joyce was severely damaged. I think that is why this fight between Joyce and Chisora happened, and Derek Chisora believed that he could win.

I am unsure what Joe Joyce's next move will be, it appears to me that in all honesty 'Joe Joyce did not prepared for this fight, as if his career had dependence on it'

Joe Joyce was the favourite for the fight, and all the concerns for the fighters seemed to be for Derek Chisora 'Joyce and Chisora are stylistically very similar fighters, so most likely Derek Chisora sensed and saw something in Joe Joyce that he could capitalize on inside the ring. To his credit that is exactly what Derek Chisora did on fight night' etc.
