I don't think that is true at all. Weirdly, I think Derek is doing it primarily because he wants to be loved. He is willing to absorb horrific punishment that, in years to come, he & his family will have to suffer from, just in order to hear lager-soaked dolts who wouldn't know the difference between a hook off the jab & a goat kebab chant 'Oh, Derek Chisora'. Which is sad.

As laughable as it sounds, I wouldn’t count Chisora out against any heavyweight! He came close to beating the best heavyweight in the planet (Usyk) not too long ago, a good amount of people thought he won it! He put up a better fight against Usyk than both Joshua and Fury.
