I don't think that is true at all. Weirdly, I think Derek is doing it primarily because he wants to be loved. He is willing to absorb horrific punishment that, in years to come, he & his family will have to suffer from, just in order to hear lager-soaked dolts who wouldn't know the difference between a hook off the jab & a goat kebab chant 'Oh, Derek Chisora'. Which is sad.
