Haha for sure. It would be entertaining for the first half of the fight.

Then Chisora sadly gets KO'd in the late rounds.

It wasnt about skill (as some fights are) as much as it was raw determination, through exhaustion, to score a late knockdown when he himself could barely stand, and pull off the win against a huge fighter who a lot of people were high on a little while back, for a 40 year-old warrior who's been around the block.
SPOT ON! What an awesome fight! So much heart! Feel happy for Chisora.... Joyce.... probably on suicide watch after Wilder.

But what exactly does that mean? What exactly constitutes "giving a ****" about Del Boy? No one WANTS to see him get hurt or go broke. Who really "gives a ****" about anyone? Again you must define what "giving a ****" means under these circumstances. No one is forcing Chisora to continue to get in the ring. And if he still wants to fight, which he obviously does, he's just going to tell anyone who tries to tell him different to piss off. I'm assuming there are doctors who evaluate him and clear him to fight. Should we protest him "for his own good?" I'm just going to wish the man well and hope he does what makes him happy and lives a long, healthy life. Maybe he will, maybe he won't. Not much else I can do regardless of whether or not I "give a ****" about him. Teddy Atlas honestly is the only one I've ever heard who seems to "give a ****" when I heard him talking about the sanctioning bodies putting fee money aside for some sort of pension/retirement plan for these guys, and I'm all for it.

Crazy to think that David Haye knocked out Chisora 12 years ago.

and now all this time later, Haye is long gone but Chisora is still on the big stage winning serious fights.

I remember watching that live. The build up was insane... after he was "glassed"

I thought his career was on the slope after that loss.

But 12 years later and he's still truckin.

He made a fan out of me a few years ago.

Dubois vs Chisora next easy to make and will be good selling in UK, Dubois will need comeback fight after he loses to AJ.
Win or lose he fights Wilder unless bomber goes onto retirement plan.

Anyone that has been retired 3 years can make it in if picked by the boxing writers association, but dudes like Chisora don't make it in in this era, it's reserved for only the highest level champs for the most part. For as much as I love Chisora, I would agree he shouldn't sniff the HOF, unless they created some separate spot for pure warriors or something. Dereck is much more Mickey Ward than Arturo Gatti, but pure boxing fans will not forget him and I'd imagine he'll be seen as a hero and man of the people in Great Britain until the end of his days
I think the process is an annual 'ballot' of the writers - their opinions/votes are balloted - so if someone gets voted in the first year they are eligible they are called a first-ballot HOFer

He won't go to Canastota, but he will end up in boxing Valhalla
I think they should invite Chisora for having the most awesome 35-13 record ever. Itīs clearly more respectable than some 43-4-1 records..
