Those are the only real controversies. Everything else is a legitimate win. Give the legend his flowers!
Yes, you're right, my question was, which victory over a prime elite fighter does he has? Again, without controversy. Ggg one and two he was already past his prime, he waited him out, so it is controversy there and if you add up the peds scandal, what do you have? There's no trick, facts is what I speak.

By your logic, if GGG and Benavidez fought at a catchweight at that time, you would favor Benavidez, right? That's why Canelo ran? Benavidez was scarier than Golovkin and Kovalev? Nobody runs from the guy a few years out from almost losing to Ronald Gavril lol

Make it make sense, loco dodo
Why do you think he is not fighting benavidez?

He was a good fighter at 160, not the same at 168.

Yes he was, the first thing he said when he arrived at 168 was " I won't fight mexicans", which in Spanish is, "no voy a pelear con benavidez".

Your arguments are nonsensical, and ones you are making up in your own head. In 2019, I would have favored GGG to beat Benavidez just like I would have favored Canelo to beat Benavidez....that means nothing because they still would have been attractive fights. Even up to last year I favored Canelo to beat Benavidez, I am only now thinking otherwise because of how Canelo is avoiding the fight.

If Benavidez hasn't displayed anything in the ring then what has Fielding, Yildrim, Chavez Jr (a fight us in Mexico wanted in 2009 not in 2017 lmao), Ryder, Munguia, or Berlanga display?

Benavidez got dropped to Gavril in the 11th round because he got sloppy and dropped his hands, it was a flash knock down. Then rematched Gavril and beat him from pilar to post. Canelo was almost KO'd at that same age by the unknown Cotto brother...s h i t happens.

LOL Saunders?! Beating a shot Groves and Lemieux makes him an excellent fighter? Saunders will never see the Hall of Fame.

But Benavidez isn't worth it despite have Lemieux on his resume too?

It's one thing to be a Canelo fan but you're not a fan....you're something beyond that.

It wasn't peak Golovkin, but still close enough to his prime. It's not like Golovkin had been in any wars by that point. If he wasn't already bigger and stronger than Canelo at the time, it would mean more.

The PED thing is hard to comment on. Most if not all of the top guys take supplements, and every year they update the list on what's banned and what's fair game. Neugenix, an over-the-counter test boost, was fine for the longest then it caused you to pop and blah blah so I don't know

There's nothing in it. Fight a tough fight just to make 20 bucks

He's still a good fighter. Plus, he literally just moved up from the same division Canelo did, just a year earier, so the whole 160 vs 168 is not even a factor
