Benavidez has nobody to blame but himself

Benavidez didn't miss the window. Pussy ass Alvarez closed the window, nailed it shut, drew the blinds, and went and hid in a closet.Comment

The numbers they post are usually the official weigh-in results (which themselves are actually done 36 hours before the fight and just as a formality for the press later on in the afternoon the day before) or the morning of. Never actual fight night weight.
Never said Canelo was an angel in that department and I'm referring to Canelo and Bivol fighting on DAZN
I'm gutted. Where's the trust?Comment

Lmao thanks for that trip
We both know Canelo wouldn't have cared if Benavidez had the belt. He was worse then (when Canelo was prime) than he is now. And Canelo's gone higher than 168 chasing booger mans

hbo did fight night weights, its the weight on the night of the fight, thats what they did so that 180 is the fight night weight for bivol on that night, thats how hbo did it which was great & what we all liked

also u are missing one important point, bivol wanted to fight canelo at 168 for his titles, do u think that bivol could do that if hes the weight that u are saying he is, no he couldntComment

There was 0 mention of ever wanting to go undisputed at 168 until AFTER Benavidez was stripped of his title. IT was literally a month later when Canelo started talking becoming "undisputed".He had WBC belt at 168 twice, he lost it twice outside of the ring, because he was ****** and unprofessional.
When Canelo entered 168, he wanted all the belts he fought every guy that had any belt at 168. He would have fought Benavidez if he had had the belt.
Now it is too late. After Bivol fight Canelo plays is safe. His biggest challenges would be Bivol at 168 or 175, Beterbiev at 175 or Benavidez at 168, but he won`t take any of these fights and he doesn`t have to.Comment

Canelo doesn't have many wins against "prime A-level fighter" either.
Canelo's big name wins are against past prime fighters like Cotto, Kovalev, and GGG. And all the prime fighters were b-level fighters at best like Callum Smith, Saunders, and Plant (none will ever be HOF worthy).
Canelo's best wins against in prime fighers is Jacobs, Trout, and Lara (which was also controversial). Of those Lara and MAYBE Jacobs will be make it into the HOF, and Jacobs moreso due to his unfortunate dealings with cancer.Comment

Bivol absolutely could. He's fit enough with that sort of frame to comfortably make 168. And it would work in his favor because he wouldn't have to fight at that weight. Canelo's and Bivol's team knows this so he beats Canelo again as the bigger man which is why Canelo said "same everything" because it's a built-in excuse to lose. If Canelo attached a 10lb rehydration clause that would affect Canelo as well at this stage which is why he can't do it. Not when he's already giving up everything else. This is the biggest sticking point on top of Canelo now having Bivol in his head.

yes he is because he only weighs about 183 for his fights at 175 so he could make 168 and he challenged canelo who refused because he knew bivol could do that and its too risky for him to lose his titles

Hmm..
Let's say Canelo was most likely high 170s, low 180s when he fought Bivol. You're saying Bivol weighed about the same as Canelo did that night?Comment
