Erickson Lubin joins Jermell Charlo in an exclusive club - they've pulled out of a Tim Tszyu fight not once (as many others have), but twice!

Reportedly, Lubin has obtained a Doctor's Certificate stating he will be unfit for late September.

Tszyu/Lubin was billed as a title eliminator though. Murtazaliev might choose to face Lubin voluntarily.

High risk, but not exactly a low reward, and it all depended on how his manager negotiated the fight. Aside from his purse offered by Aussie promoters, he gets automatic cut from the US feeds. No one can take that away from him.

Tszyu is the kind of fighter that won't wait for anybody's excuses. He's right. Had he waited for Jermell Charlo, he would be approaching 2 years layoff now. Charlo even promised to come back for Tszyu when he was promoting the Canelo fight.

See the ridiculousness of waiting for fight when there are fights that are readily available to keep things moving and staying busy?
