Talk about leverage.
I did think about this possibility, it's viable, it could happen, but the earliest the fight could happen is late 2025 or early 2026. Canelo is zeroing in on $300 to $400 mil in net worth, that will increase with his cash out tour, he won't need that fight if David actually makes it to that point, which judging by his last fight, and as you note, is not a sure thing.

Sometimes I have to remember there is a wide range of ages on this site, and people, some contribute compelling and educated positions, others..well....what are you going to do.

Yes something on the table like Berlanga and Mungia had right? lmao.

If Canelo is scared now what you think he will be if Benavidez wipes out Beterbiev or Bivol.

Ive never been interested in the canelo benavidez fight, even a 70% canelo would beat him, i would like to see benavidez fight Beterbiev because i feel he will send bivol to splattsville.

I don't think Canelo cares about the fans. It is sad.
I think Berlanga was the weakest of opponents he was looking at fighting. It is sad.
I think everyone rates Benny's performance against Gvo a bit too low. Gvo is a solid fighter and a big guy.
Benevidez may just be looking to fight the best now instead of chasing a payday. Not sad!!!

Benavidez hurt his hand against Gvozdyk too. Many are either unaware of that or choose to overlook it.
