In my humble opinion, based on his last showing against Gvozdyk, David will struggle against the winner at LHW. Bivol will outbox him and Betrebiev will put him to sleep.

He doesn't need him, never needed him, and resented the BS pr campaign, I don't think the fans helped either. Throw some respect on Canelo's name. He quietly froze David out, career payday gone, and it ain't coming back.

Unless...Benny pulls out a miracle out his ass and beats the winner of next October's LHW showdown, very unlikely yes, but lets say Benavidez actually beats Bivol or Beter , now he'll have something to put on the table to attract Canelo and thats the LHW belts along with the possibility of a 5th div championship. Talk about leverage.
