It is funny people calling Loma the one ducking now, when it's clearly Davis was the one ducking years before and that's because of Mayweather cherry picking method tactic.

Also i think the decision is not related to Davis, from what i read online. It is because of what is happening from his country, Ukraine and his family there. Dude has been fighting top oppositions for years now and fans still questioning him for this?

As a boxing fan, i really like both fighters and hoping it will happen soon, but we can't really blame Loma here, he has obligations to his country and worried about his family there, most of us here are lucky not to experience war. Just think about it.

Just go to r/ worldnews and ukraine. Depending on the American election, military support in the future is not guaranteed. It may (or may not) happen. And the election had changes in the last month.

Just check what happened when Congress blocked support for six months. The Ukrainian troops had less artillery ammunition and the Russians advanced. It only stopped because the Americans sent support and restrictions on use were lifted.

If I had a family (not just a wife and children) I would put together a plan B if the situation got worse. When Loma no longer fought and went to Ukraine, there was massive American support. What exists now is uncertainty.

Now when there is some certainty about the future, Loma must fight Tank, but he will lose. He is no longer the Loma he was years ago.

I understand that people want to see fights, but it's crazy how uninformed people are about world events, or unable to even consider how a war in one's home country could actually prevent them from doing their normal daily job.

Seems like a simple concept. But I guess people are just so detached from the realities of the world around us.

Tank ducked Loma for the better part of seven years now. He's been fighting cherry picks his entire career. Now he is boxed into a corner because the three most deserving opponents will all give him a tough fight...Cruz, Zepeda and Shakur. Odds are Tank will sit out the remainder of 2024 rather than fight any of them.

My guess would be November - Jan presents a volatile time in election process and how that impacts funding and support for his country, and perhaps the leader of his country could be pressuring him in some capacity. I also suspect he is forcing Tank into fighting one of the three next deserving and compelling opponents...Cruz, Zepeda or Shakur. If Tank wants to fight in late '24 he won't be able to cherry pick another no-hoper.
